Internal Audit Manager
A rapidly expanding manufacturing and engineering business is currently recruiting an Internal Audit Manager to be based in their Central London head office.
Reporting to the Head of Audit, you’ll play an integral part in developing the internal audit and risk function. The Internal Audit and Risk team is relatively new and was created from scratch around two years ago. Whilst significant steps have been made in creating a best in class function, there is still lots of scope to continue to develop the department. This is a hands-on Manager level position that requires you to plan and execute a wide range of complex internal audits and prepare high quality audit reports to present audit findings to Senior Management in a clear and concise manner. The audit plan is largely operational in focus, although the Internal Audit Manager will have responsibility for managing the Group’s ongoing J-SOX compliance programme.
You’ll hold a recognised qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA) and have previous internal audit experience - either from Practice or Industry. Candidates with prior J-SOX or SOX experience are preferred and previous experience in long term contract/project accounting is also desirable. Prior management or team leader experience is expected as this role with have one direct report.
