This is a great opportunity to join a leading international insurance provider as their Risk Reporting Manager based in Swindon.

Your new role
As Life Reporting Manager your role will be to lead Risk reporting, covering all risk types, to senior Executive Committees, Boards and Regulators for the UK Life and Savings business. You will engage with senior management within the Risk function, the UK Life business and UK support functions, to provide insight into the key risks facing the business. Lead and coordinate the ORSA and ICAAP reporting processes, which provide insights into the risk and solvency outlook for the UK Life business, taking inputs from colleagues in finance, actuarial and across the firm, and applying them to the broader strategic context of the business. You will also be responsible for providing input into other key Solvency II reporting for the PRA and external disclosure.
  • Provide consistent, reliable and timely delivery of risk insights to relevant decision-making and governance bodies, including the UK Life and Savings Risk and Control Committee and UK Life Board Committees.
  • Lead the cross-functional ORSA and ICAAP processes and produce annual reporting for the Life Boards, PRA and FCA
  • Develop a strong understanding of the strategic priorities of the UK Life and Savings business, and the key strategic risks it faces.
  • Understand the risk exposures present in the UK Life and Savings business and identify emerging trends and issues



What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Risk / Governance or Assurance Professional with experience gained within the Financial Services sector, ideally Insurance services including life insurance. Strong experience of report writing to senior management and exec level is desired. The ability to engage and challenge with senior stakeholders including the PRA and FCA.
