Senior Internal Auditor

A FTSE 250 multinational transport group in London has a vacancy for a Senior Internal Auditor due to an internal promotion. You'll be based in the corporate office and work in a team of 4 on risk based audits, planning and delivering complex end-to-end business audits (financial, operational, commercial and compliance) as well as contributing to IT audits, and delivering high quality written reports. You can expect to be actively involved in the preparation of Audit Committee papers, and the formation of the annual Internal Audit plan. Travel in the role is in the range of 30-40%, typically within the UK but occasionally abroad.

The successful individual will have a recognised accounting qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA etc) and, ideally, have trained with a Big 4 or a large accountancy practice. Prior experience of internal audit is required. A background of working in FTSE 250 organisations would be a distinct advantage. Benefits include 10% bonus, private healthcare,and 25 days' holiday.
