Internal Auditor

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working with a British retail brand to support them in finding an Internal Auditor.

The Internal Auditor will be part of a growing Internal Audit & Risk Management function and will be responsible for supporting the team in the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects.

Role Responsibility

To provide a professional and objective internal audit and consultancy service to the business on the full range of assurance matters. This will include Operational reviews, Financial Audits, Special Projects and Project Assurance.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will show initiative, passion, and decisiveness, consistently producing quality results against given deadlines. They will have great stakeholder management skills, combining professionalism, empathy, influencing, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates will be part qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or CIA) with an undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Management and experience within internal audit. Retail experience is desired, and interest in the retail sector is essential.
