Senior Internal Auditor
This global insurance business is seeking a Senior Internal auditor to join them to focus on their UK Operations.
This role is a great opportunity to add value to the business, understand their processes and have the opportunity to grow, leading audits yourself - end to end, whilst also assisting colleagues with delivery.
The wider team is very supportive. You will have a critical mass of colleagues to support you, but this function will still be able to give you the opportunity to work independently and develop your expertise across a number of business units. The organisation has a mature culture and is results orientated and providing assurance and reducing risk are the main goals here. There is up to 30% travel.This organisation seeks to empower employees' careers, so there will be opportunity for progression within Internal Audit or in another line of defence or even in other business units.
Ideally you will be fully qualified (either a relevant accounting qualification, ACA / ACCA or an IIA qualification), and have experience of working on the complete audit life-cycle. You should also feel comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders.
Although experience of the insurance industry is beneficial, any experience from financial services or a robustly regulated industry will be considered.
