A Top 10 National Firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join their business services and accounting team in their Manchester City Centre offices. The firm offer audit and assurance, tax, advisory and business services and outsourcing services to a broad range or clients and their business services and outsourcing department is one of the largest offerings of an accountancy firm within the North West.

Your new role
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and disclosures under a range of accounting frameworks including FRS102 and IFRS, preparing consolidated accounts and cash flow forecasts and take responsibility for coaching, delegating and providing guidance to the more junior members of staff. In this role you will work with a broad range of clients, all of which have different levels of technical expertise there you will be responsible for seeking solutions to clients accounting problems and advising as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA) who has trained in either audit or accounts and can demonstrate good working knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS. You must be able to operate at a level whereby you can lead assignments through to completion and also draw on and delegate work to junior resources within the team. This role will be client facing and therefore you must also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
