Controls Assurance Manager

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is assisting one of the Big 4 to recruit a Controls Assurance Manager.  The controls team plays a key role supporting both the audit assurance and consulting type of assurance to non-audit clients, within this, you will be pivotal in managing the delivery of business and IT process and controls reviews for an enviable portfolio of FTSE 100 listed organisations.

As such, solid understanding of controls frameworks (COSO, SOX, COBIT) is required as is experience in either business process or IT controls risk assessment.  In addition to displaying these technical capabilities, you will be well versed in managing budgets, leading delivery teams, and developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities will entail leading the delivery of financial control assessment and testing as part of SOX and non-SOX statutory audits from planning through to reporting; testing of IT General controls (ITGCs) across the four domains; advising on finance transformation and compliance implementation programs; leading and coaching delivery teams.

Prior or current experience working within a professional services firm would be ideal, if not, those with experience working in-house for large, complex corporate organisations will also be considered.
