Senior Internal Auditor - very low travel

We are looking for a dynamic professional to join a high calibre internal audit team. Working within an innovative and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with the Internal Audit and Technology Internal Audit team to deliver value adding projects across all areas of the business.

The role:

• Directly contribute to the development and delivery of the Annual Audit Plan and the wider Internal Audit and Risk Plan.
• Develop audit scopes and programmes that demonstrate commercial awareness and address key technology and business-related risks.
• Undertake end-to-end audits, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Provide pragmatic advice and convincing audit recommendations that drive genuine improvements in the control environment.
• Provide targeted advisory projects on a planned and ad hoc basis to stakeholders at all levels.
• Support the monitoring, reporting and escalation of open actions.
• Contribute to a high performing team, providing input into new techniques and improvement initiatives.

About you:

With a demonstrable track record in delivering high quality internal audit services, preferably gained in a professional practice or large multinational corporate, you will possess proven internal audit/technology audit experience. You'll be degree level educated in audit it a related field and be qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification.

We're looking for an ambitious, self-motivated individual who can work alone or as part of an established, high performing team. You'll have excellent relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior managers. Juggling multiple demands, you’ll be able to organise your time, so you can focus on the detail, yet quickly grasp the bigger picture. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must - you will be analysing and presenting information in dynamic and often unfamiliar environments.
