Job Details
This global financial services organisation is looking to recruit an experienced internal auditor in a newly created team focussing on project audit. Reporting to the head of the team you will be providing risk-based integrated audit coverage and assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of key projects, change initiatives and related risks. You will lead and oversee a portfolio of project related audits across the business and will have line management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 – 8 years’ internal audit experience, ideally in banking / financial services, and strong project audit experience across a range of projects. You should hold a project management qualification (such Prince 2, MSP or PMI) and have demonstrable experience of dealing with all levels of management. An accountancy or internal audit qualification would be desirable but not essential. Credibility as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be key. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation in a role offering exposure as well as the chance to join a new team within the function.
