Senior Internal Auditor

An instantly recognisable global FMCG brand has a vacancy at its corporate headquarters in London for a Senior Internal Auditor. The company operates in over 100 countries, and is listed on the Fortune 500. The role involves working in a small and highly regarded internal audit team to provide independent and objective assurance and advice over the effectiveness of the company's governance, risk management and internal control processes. This will be delivered through conducting operational, compliance, financial and financial reporting (Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404) audit engagements. Travel is in the range of 30-40%, mostly within Europe, but with the potential to work on audit assignments in the Middle-East, Asia and South America.
The successful candidate will have gained the ACA, ACA or IIA qualification (or equivalent) in the last 1-3 years, and perhaps be transitioning from practice into industry, or moving from an internal audit role in another commercial business. You will have a minimum of 3 years' internal or external audit experience. French language skills would be an advantage. This role would ideally suit an ambitious individual looking to take the next step in their career, in a role offering international travel and potential to move around the wider business in future.
