Internal Audit Senior / Semi Senior - Global Consultancy Firm
My Client, a global consulting practice, is currently looking to increase their internal audit function in Birmingham by hiring into Senior and Semi Senior Internal Audit roles within their Risk Assurance Service.
There are roles in the Derbyshire, Walsall and Birmingham areas as part of a major hiring drive form this firm.
The Internal Auditor will be tasked with undertaking predominantly Corporate Internal Audit assignments while also working with a number of Not for Profit clients.
- Complete a wide variety of audit tests and procedures applying audit principles to interpret results in accordance with departmental standards and against defined criteria
- Application of controls in a wide variety of settings and assess resulting exposures related to missing controls
- Understand risks in relation to missing controls and formulate effective recommendations which are both practical and cost effective
- Document facts so those reviewing can follow the auditors logic in accordance with internal audit methodology and quality assurance
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate effective time management and communication skills, coupled with a proactive approach which will aid in the provision of solutions for clients and demonstrate a desire to develop their own professional careers.
