Senior Internal Auditor - FS - Mid Tier Practice

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been engaged by a mid-tier practice firm to help recruit a senior internal auditor to join their expanding FS team. Based in central London, the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the FS Head of Internal Audit for London and the South.

This is an opportunity to join an established top 10 practice, in an area that is currently going through a sustained period of growth. Targeting the SME space, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of complex and specialist audits at client's sites, including financial risk management e.g. Governance, Product and Process audits, in accordance with the client’s Internal Audit standards. In this largely autonomous role you will be expected to complete assignments independently and when leading a team, while ensuring that all audits are delivered at a high quality within required timescales and budgets.

Successful applicants will have a background within the FS industry, but there is no preference to candidates hailing from either a practice or industry background. You will have at least two years’ experience working within the FS sector and possess strong technical knowledge of governance and process matters which affect financial institutions. In this largely client facing role you will be engaging and possess strong relationship management skills, as the department continues to grow their client base.

Ideally you will be ACCA/ACA/CIA qualified but candidates close to completion will be considered.
