Central Midlands Audit Partnership (CMAP) hosted by Derby City Council is a progressive Internal Audit Partnership, delivering a professional audit service to several Councils and Public Authorities in the East Midlands region. Well regarded by all our Partners, CMAP currently provides internal audit services to four Councils in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, a Fire Authority and a Housing ALMO.

We are looking for experienced individuals with excellent IT skills and technical knowledge and a sound working knowledge of risk and system based auditing, to join our modern and versatile team. You will be required to undertake IT audit assignments across a wide range of services provided by our partners. A good grasp of activities delivered by public sector bodies and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines is desirable. Working remotely or at one of the partners’ offices, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication and IT knowledge and be able to work with minimal supervision. A relevant professional qualification is not essential but would be desirable.
