Spanish Speaker; Senior Internal Auditor. 40-50% travel

Our client are a multi-billion euro entity and currently require an Internal auditor to join their team in Germany.

Spanish Speaker
Day to day business is in English and therefore German is not required.
You will be fluent in Spanish and English however.

Work life balance
You will travel approx 50%+ of the time to major European destinations with a travel schedule that will allow you to leave home on a Monday and return on a Friday.

Travel as a team
You will have the opportunity to get to know all members of the team as you typically travel in a group of 2-4 auditors depending on the size of the engagement.

Your role and key Activities:

•Perform financial, operational, compliance and strategic audits at each of the company's European business units

•Assessment of control risks and development of recommendations for the enhancement and improvement of entities business processes, procedures and systems as well as the Company’s Internal Control Evaluation standards and policies).

•Document audit results in accordance with audit standards

•Present audit findings to management, suggest recommendations for improvement and prepare audit reports

•Document audit results in accordance with audit standards. preparation of draft audit reports and documentation of audit work for review by audit management, facilitate observation tracking and validate closure of issues.

Your Profile:

•You will currently be working in Big 4 in either Spain, Italy or Portugal for example focusing on Industrial multinationals.

•Relevant university degree in Business Administration or Economics

•Maximum of 3 years' work experience gained in external or internal auditing

•Experience with SOX or J-SOX auditing desirable

• Fluency in German as well as good English language skills; other European languages advantageous

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation

•Strong work ethic and good project management and organisational skills; ability to meet deadlines, set priorities and use time effectively to accomplish tasks

•Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and work productively with others in a team environment

•Flexibility and willingness to travel (up to 60% of working time)
