IT Auditor Job based in Edinburgh, £27,500 - £40,000 + benefits, pension & bonus


Your new company
Your new company is a Financial Services organisation based in Edinburgh who are currently recruiting for an IT Internal Auditor on a permanent basis due to continued expansion and growth within the team.

Your new role
In your new role as IT Auditor you will support the senior team members and the Head of Audit in delivering the audit plan for the organisation's Chief Information Office and the wider IT function. Within your role, you will engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, using your knowledge of IT controls and Financial Services to provide insights and promote improvement in the organisation's risk and control environment. Within you new role you will have the opportunity to put your stamp on multiple projects in an environment where innovation is promoted.


What you'll need to succeed
As a successful candidate you will be an experience Internal Auditor with previous experience in IT Audit and experience in delivering multiple high-quality audits aligned to audit methodology. You will have experience working in a fast-moving environment with complex IT risks and controls as well as delivery of audit papers to audit methodology. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of IT controls and knowledge of the IT Audit function within a business. You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and planning skills. You will have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with with the larger team. Ideally you will have relevant qualifications such as CISA, CISSP or equivalent.
