A career in our Company Secretarial practice, within Legal Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients adopt a more strategic approach to global entity governance across their organisations. We help our clients and their legal entities with the incorporation of new companies, ongoing compliance with local legislation, and restructuring of their global businesses to manage governance and compliance risks.

Our team helps our clients ensure they are compliant with statutory obligations based on best practice and amended rules and regulations. You’ll help clients with board compliance and governance, corporate governance consultancy services, and health checks based on client’s secretarial arrangements.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
  • Train, coach, and supervise team members
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

PwC’s Entity Governance & Compliance practice is one of the largest teams of Company Secretaries and governance professionals globally.

Headquartered in London but with teams in over 160 + countries, we specialise in providing clients with technology enabled governance, transaction and compliance support. Our clients include some of world’s largest blue chip businesses who are working with us to enhance the governance and compliance of their boards and legal entities.

You would enjoy working as part of multi-disciplinary team, comprising Legal, Tax and operational specialisms, with a reputation for delivering excellence. You would also be at the forefront of PwC’s response to the UK Corporate Governance reform agenda.

As part of our growth plans and to help deliver exciting new client projects we are recruiting qualified Company Secretaries in the UK (London, Birmingham and Manchester) as well as in our business across the Middle East (Dubai, Riyadh and Doha).
