Part Time Client Manager

Rare part time opportunity managing a portfolio of clients in an Accountancy Firm in Oswestry.

Your new firm
A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in Oswestry, Shropshire are looking to appoint a Client Manager to join the team on a part time basis. This is a new job opportunity that has been created following sustained growth over the past 2 years. This increase in workload has resulted in the need for a Client Manager to join the firm and work part time either 2-4 days a week.

Your new role
As a Client Manager (working 2-4 days a week) you will take responsibility for around 80 - 100 clients, which be a mixture of sold traders, partnership and limited companies. For your portfolio you will be responsible for preparing and submitting financial statements and the relevant personal and business tax returns, preparing cashflow forecasts and delegating and reviewing bookkeeping and VAT work to junior members of the team. The majority of the clients are using or advised to use Quickbooks so you will be involved in implementing this software and training clients.

As the Client Manager you will be the main point of contact for your portfolio, advising them on their financial position, any improvements they can make and discuss any business growth opportunities you may come across.

What you'll need to succeed
The Director is looking to appoint an experienced general practitioner who has strong small business accounting and tax knowledge and is able to work autonomously. As this role is client facing you must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a good commercial acumen as you will be trusted advisor to your clients. The Director will consider ACA / ACCA qualified individuals or AAT / QBE practice professionals.
