Operational Risk Analyst

Overview

To support the Head of Operational Risk and CRO in the oversight of OR, and to ensure that the business can manage OR with a good OR Framework and tools

Responsibilities

• Management of l Line 2 oversight of operational risk issues and events.
• Independent reviews and write-ups of Operational Risk events
• Oversee RCSA and associated controls testing.
• Approve and review changes to the RCSA
• Execute sample based controls tests and report through governance.
• Review audit and monitoring logs covering information security risks.
• OR reports and dashboards, and support administration of the OR Committee.
• Support to the Head of OR with Business Continuity and DPO responsibilities as required.
• Provide input into the preparation of the Bank's RRP
• Oversee and coordinates the Bank's Insurance arrangements.
• Support the wider risk department on ad hoc tasks as they arise.

Skills & Experience

• Background in financial services
• 1-3 years operational risk experience with good understanding of key principals and tools
• Understanding of OR Frameworks, their implementation and evolution.
• Ideally exposure to OR system implementation
• Experience in control testing or auditing.
