Your new firm
An award winning regional firm of Chartered Accountants are in an exciting phase of their journey and are looking to define and expand their digital and cloud based offering. With this new venture, they are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Client Manager to head up this offering alongside the partner in their Chester office. This is a career defining opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to take ownership of this offering and build a reputation within the Chester area. The firm will consider full time working hours or 4 days a week.

Your new role
As a Client Manager you will manage a varied client base including retail and online businesses, tradesmen, tech start ups and many more who are all fully functional on the cloud. You will work with these businesses to provide and train them with a range of apps and digital programmes which will enable their businesses to grow and increase their profits.

Day to day you will oversee their finances, preparing and providing commentary on management accounts. cashflow forecasts and statutory accounts whilst also assisting with some business and personal tax planning. You will be a trusted advisor to your clients, partnering with them to provide strategic business advice. Over time you will be encouraged to network in the local market to develop your business, identifying and pitching for new business.

What you'll need to succeed
The partner is ideally looking to appoint a forward thinking chartered accountant (ACA / ACCA) who can demonstrate a passion for new cloud accounting technology. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing a portfolio and have a commercially focused mind set.

As this is a new offering for the firm, they are looking for an ambitious individual who is happy to take ownership of this and work closely with the partner to build and develop the client base.

The firm are offering a competitive salary of around £45000 dependent on experience plus 27 days holiday + bank holidays, parking on site, bonuses and flexible working. The partner will consider candidates who are looking to work full time or 4 days a week.
