About the Opportunity:
Multinational business in the St Louis are in the process of recruiting a Senior Internal Audit Manager for their Global team. An Internal Audit professional with experience in the agribusiness/commodity trading industry is required to lead a team of auditors within this global business. The position is a developmental opportunity with opportunities arising within St Louis or abroad.
The business is established and successful, with recent momentum gained following a challenging period in the sector. The internal audit team are needed to travel to the subsidiaries and regional HQ’s to add value – suggesting improvements aimed at improving business efficiency.
Candidates with a background in an international business would be the right fit – having gained experience across global subsidiaries and across cultures. The experience within a financial and operational audit context will be valued, with a strong commercial understanding of how a complex multi-stakeholder business works. The matrix structure of the organization also adds an extra level of complexity to the role. The challenges in the role are rewarding but will challenge both intellectually and personally.
Based in St Louis and travelling 40-50% of the time, this role provides a fantastic global opportunity for an Audit Manager who is ACA/ACCA or CPA qualified to embark on a career in a business that offer the staff substantial rewards, both personally and professionally. A native English speaker is the ideal candidate (but not required), bringing with them exceptional communication and report writing skills in English. Experience in the commodity trading, energy or related sector is also required, along with the ambition to drive your international career forward in St Louis initially, and in an international assignment in the future.
