Data Analyst

Job Description

Leading Multinational Industrial Corporation is looking to hire a Data Analyst to join their international operations based just outside of London. The right candidate will have a proven track record in data management including data collection, data warehousing and data visualization, and additionally, a solid understanding of descriptive statistics and OLAP design methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and manipulate very large complex data sets for data exploration/mining purposes
• Working primarily under the direction of the lead analyst to design and implement innovative and compelling reports, dashboards, visualisations and models to support effective decision making
• Collaborate with cross-functional business units to understand company needs and devise possible solutions
• Develop and implement databases, data collection/extraction programs for primary and secondary data sources
• Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers

Desirable Qualifications:

• 3+ years working knowledge of relational DBMS’s including SQL Server
• 2+ years working knowledge of SAP ECC database model
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• ETL Frameworks, Data Warehousing (Kimball), T-SQL and Stored Procedures experience
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Manage time effectively and work accurately and quickly under pressure
