Internal Audit Manager

This is a group level role based in Amsterdam, where currently there is a need to hire high potential international auditors with strong Big 4 backgrounds seeking a role within internal audit.
As there are always acquisitions ongoing, it means internal audit is exciting but it also means there are opportunities to go into the business on short term assignments working closely with local CFO's and Operational Leaders. As a result this acts as enabler for your future career. Of course you are expected to a set time within corporate audit to gain a broad understanding of the business, but the leadership will always encourage and nurture your career aspirations.
Working as an Internal Audit Manager within the corporate audit function, day to day duties will include planning and executing a range of both operational and financial audits. The department has an excellent team approach, the strategy for the team is clear and the leadership want to enhance the function and become 'best in class'.
The ideal candidate will be naturally analytical especially given the role big data plays in within industry; it is also imperative you are naturally inquisitive and able to communicate in a tactful manner. If you posses excellent communication skills you will go far as you will be in touch regularly with a range of decision makers on major projects across the globe.
- 4-6 years experience within audit and / or risk assurance
- Fluent English (additional languages are a plus, Dutch / French would be advantageous)
- ACCA / CPA (or equivalent is essential)
- Data analytics experience
- Ability to travel on a global basis (40%)
