Internal Audit Manager

Job Description

Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company is looking to hire an Internal Audit Manager in Frankfurt who will focus on special / forensic investigations and directly report to the Global Director, Internal Audit. You will come from a fraud / forensic background, lead special cases and investigations on a global basis, and have excellent communication skills to present findings to key stakeholders of the Audit Group.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform investigations involving allegations of irregularities, fraud, corruption, and other violations of the company’s Code of Conduct and other compliance policies
• Ensure assigned investigations are carried out fairly, objectively, timely, thoroughly and in compliance with relevant policies and regulations
• Provide concise and timely updates on the investigation progress, compliance issues and deficiencies identified to Global Internal Control and Audit stakeholders
• Conduct audits or investigations and manage the investigative process, including conducting interviews, collecting data and facts, analysing cases to identify trends and/or discrepancies, and writing investigation reports

Desirable Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of Internal Audit experience with Fraud Investigation background from the industrial sector
• University Degree in Audit, Accounting, Finance, Law or similar
• CFE or similar qualification is a must
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong in self-learning with good execution skills
• Willingness to travel on a global basis
