Internal Auditor - Luxury Retail - Low travel

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company are working with a luxury retail brand to help find them an Internal Audit and Project assurance professional. As a member of the Internal Audit team, the incumbent will be responsible for contributing to the operational Internal Audit plan.

As an Internal Auditor, you will carry out research and reviews, making any necessary recommendations to mitigate against identified risks. You will provide a professional and objective internal audit and consultancy service to the business on the full range of assurance matters. You will ensure that planning, audit execution and reporting is comprehensive, is carried out efficiently and effectively and to the required standard.

The company is undergoing a large program of capital investment and change, as such Internal Audit is looking to support this by completing dynamic project and financial governance reviews.

Other Audit projects will be Risk-Led and have a strong emphasis on adding value to the organisation through co-operative engagement rather than policing through compliance and controls.  

A suitable candidate will have 4 years + Audit & Assurance experience. This experience will preferably have come from a Risk-led Internal Audit or Risk Advisory team.
