Your new organisation
Our client is a large public sector organisation that plays a key role in the planning and implementation of health, education, language, culture and public services in Wales. They are recruiting interim Internal Auditors to audit a range of upcoming projects.
Your new role
In your new role you will be expected to undertake the full audit process from planning through to final report and follow up where applicable. It will be your responsibility to plan and book your allocation of audits to ensure delivery within the set timeframe so some autonomy will be expected of you. You may occasionally be expected to visit other parts of Wales where necessary, which may also require overnight stays depending on the length of assignment.
What you'll need to succeed
As a qualified/part qualified accountant or auditor you will possess strong analytical and report writing skills and be able to communicate with a range of stakeholders and staff at various grades. You will be familiar with the standard audit process from planning to final report and have some familiarity with procurement processes, though this is not essential.
What you'll get in return
You will have the opportunity to work in modern offices in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You'll receive up to £32 p/h (inclusive of holiday pay) working 37 hours a week on an initial 4 month placement.
