Internal Audit Manager - Big 4 - FTSE 100 Client Base

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) has been engaged to recruit self motivated and driven Internal Audit Manager's for one of the Big 4 practice firms based in London. This is an area of the business that is currently undergoing a heavy period of sustained growth, with the potential for further wins. 

The Role

This role offers a varied workload, where your clients will predominantly be part of the FTSE 100. As a manager you will be involved in reviewing and establishing internal audit functions, assurance mapping, creating annual audit plans and managing and directing internal projects which include planning, reviewing, reporting and quality assurance.

The Responsibilities

Retaining management responsibility for your portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships with both senior internal and client staff and being responsible for the financial performance and delivery of these accounts. You will be developing audit strategies which address all audit, client service and project management issues. Producing quarterly Audit Committee papers, assisting the partner in general business development and any other ad-hoc duties.

About You

You will hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA), and have experience working within an internal audit/ risk management function. We will look at candidates from a large commercial in-house background and candidates directly from another practice. To succeed in this autonomous role, you will need to be driven, resilient and highly self motivated as you will not be micromanaged. An assertive personality coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must, as is having the confidence to express ideas and innovations to senior management.
