Internal Audit - Global Markets - Associate

They cover all audits across capital markets with a strong emphasis on FICC products. As they operate on a pooled resource basis the successful candidate will have exposure to all aspects of the investment bank i.e. all front to back office audits.

They are looking for candidates with both internal audit and FS experience. They must be able to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and be credible in front of traders.

ACA/ACCA is not a requirement but is desirable.

Involves audit testing - from planning (field work to reporting), annual risk assessment, continuous monitoring

Wide exposure to products: credit, emerging markets, interest rates, fixed income, vanilla to structured products

Min travel - most of time in London where traders are based

Deal with desk heads - head of trading desks

Audits covered: FO, product control, operations, IB and asset management space too

Looking for good product knowledge and good auditing skills - they require a level of internal or external audit experience with a knowledge of global market products and their associated risks
