Credit Risk Underwriter Job - ABL - North Hampshire Location - £30,000 to £40,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this leading financial provider based in the north Hampshire area within an established team as a Credit Risk Underwriter.

Your new role
Will be to support the leadership team by providing prudent and robust underwriting of all credit applications according to company policy and procedures. If proposals are satisfactory, then to accept and commit the company to the business, within your own authority levels. To communicate decision in line with current procedures within agreed service response times. Produce analyses of clients' accounts and prepare credit reports, with recommendations if above underwriting authority, justified decision if otherwise.

What you'll need to succeed
You will come from within a financial lending environment, desirably with underwriting experience and an understanding of financial accounts interpretation. Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to negotiate with all relevant stakeholders at all business levels. Be responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, guidelines and the internal control framework established to guide the operation of their function in addition to regulatory compliance requirements.

What you'll get in return
