Job Details
An exciting opportunity to join an established global charity as a Head of Internal Audit has arisen.
You will design the annual plan, providing strategic leadership and direction for the internal audit function. Reporting to Senior Management and the Audit Committee, you will ensure internal audit operates effectively advising on the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
This position will provide exposure to all areas of the wider business with full budgetary control. You will be the main contact for the Charity Commission, taking full responsibility for managing the risks around fraud and corruption.
To be considered for this role you will be fully qualified (either IIA or CCAB), have at least 7 years’ internal audit experience (ideally within another charitable organisation), and excellent communication and stakeholder skills. Even though this charity has a global reach, this position will have a low travel element of around 10-15% annually, and this will be decided by the successful incumbent.
