Finance Officer

Finance Officer Job paying £29000-£30000 per annum on a Permanent basis.

Your new role
Your will be responsible for the administration of the accounts to trial balance and the accurate processing of payroll. You will be maintaining the sales ledger including raisin sales invoices, credit notes, processing all receipts and to ensure all payments against invoices are carried out accurately, working closely with colleagues to deal with all enquired efficiently. Likewise, you will be processing monthly payroll, ensuring that statutory payments are paid within the deadline and to maintain accurate payroll records as well as dealing with staff queries about payroll. You will also be responsible for all credit control procedures, producing statements and reminders for outstanding accounts and chasing outstanding balances.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be AAT qualified or have the equivalent of accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified). Essential requirements include having experience of computerised accounting to trial balance and experience of sales ledger, credit control and producing bank reconciliations.
