Your new company
This Financial Controls Accountant role is with a longstanding and globally recognised professional body with a large membership base. This role will require c.70% domestic travel (fully expensed) but you will work from home whenever you are not on site. The team is under fresh, engaging new leadership and going through an exciting period of change.

Your new role
Reporting into the Principal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering assurance reviews against several regulatory schemes including financial controls assessments around how client money is held and protected. You will be conducting these reviews both autonomously and with colleagues from the team depending on the size and complexity of the engagement.

There is a consistent track record of people moving from this role into the business, including into Finance, Risk & Compliance.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with recent external or internal audit experience. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Prior exposure to a regulated industry is advantageous but not essential.

What you'll get in return
£40,000-£45,000 + £5,500 car allowance + pension + benefits
