Audit Assistant Manager ACA ACCA, Fareham, to £45.000 + Benefits
A leading accountancy practice firm in Fareham is currently looking for an Audit Assistant manager to join their thriving and busy audit team.
This is a varied and challenging role involving the management of a client portfolio including statutory audits, accounts preparation, general advisory, strategic and tax planning and attending client meetings;
You will be managing audits, completing jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget including marketing, prospect follow ups, attending local events, etc and liaison with other service lines as needed i.e. Vat, Tax. Assisting with training and development of junior staff will also be part of your remit so this will include reviewing audit files and the planning, preparation and scheduling of audit jobs within the team.
You will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified (degree not essential) with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in audit/accounts an Accountancy Practice and experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, IFRS, statutory accounts and disclosures.
