Group Internal Auditor - Retail - flexible working - 50% Travel

The Audit and Risk Recruitment company are working with an Automotive retail company on a Group Internal Audit position.

Reporting to the Group Head of Internal audit, this is a high profile position within the group with exposure to management at both a local and Plc level on a regular basis. 

Leading teams of Internal Auditors and Guest Auditors, selected from the business, the Group Auditor will ensure successful completion of assigned audit engagements from start to finish including tactical planning and wrap up activities. Ensuring that reviews are undertaken in line with professional standards, the Senior Auditor will also work closely with management to develop improvement plans that take into account business imperatives.  

The Internal Audit team is viewed as a training ground for future business leaders with emphasis placed on contributing to the overall needs of the business whilst focusing on career development for the individuals in the team. 

Suitable candidates should have 4-6 years of Audit experience, preferably with at least 2 years of Internal Audit experience. Candidates should also have strong analytical skills, including the ability to provide commercially focused variance analysis and comment. 

Travel with this position is estimated to be up to 50% (International). Candidates do not need to be based from the office most of the time. Travel to the central London office is expected every couple of weeks.
