Senior Internal Audit Manager

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working on a Senior Internal Audit Manager opportunity for a leading British brand. 

This is a unique opportunity that would suit an ambitious Internal Audit Manager/Senior Manager from consultancy who wants make the move into Industry. The role reports to the Director of Internal Audit and has 5 direct reports who are based both in and out of the UK.

The Internal Audit & Risk Management team is responsible for providing an assessment of the financial & operational control environment of the Group to the Audit Committee.  The team is also responsible for the risk management process and the self-certification process for internal controls

The Director of Internal Audit is looking to hire an exceptional individual who has had sustained progression throughout their career. Candidates who have varied experience, including Non-Audit, would also be desirable.

The head of Internal Audit will be expected to take a hands-on role to understand how to deliver value to the business. There will be an expected 30-40% travel. Much of this will be International, both EMEA and US/Asia. International languages will be desirable but not essential. The role will primarily based in London.
