For a perm at our client, a Big4 consultancy based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Leader HC Operations - Payrollexpert (6312)

In this position, you will be responsible for the area HC Administration which includes Employee Data Administration as well as Staffing and Separation and Payroll such as HC Payroll and Time and Attendance.   

Your Qualifications:

  • +8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits and HC Operations, inclusive Payroll
  • Strong experience in IT Service Management with excellent knowhow of Management and optimisation of process portfolio and process models
  • Outstanding expertise of Swiss social insurances, work permits, labour and tax laws
  • At least 5 years’ experience in leading various teams         
  • Good IT Skills of MS Office and Lotus Notes
  • Analytical, conceptual thinking includes complexity comprehension & management
  • Proven communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in German and English, French is a big plus

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HC Operations                                                                                                   
  • Leading the subordinated HC Ops teams and defines their respective strategies (about 15 team members)
  • Adapting the strategy according to changing requirements in order to ensure the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness within HC Operations        
  • Responsible for HC IT projects, coordinates and oversees all IT tools in HC       
  • Ensuring that HC Ops processes are in line with laws and guidelines                                                  
  • Implementing and applying standards and KPIs to control the compliancy of the processes            
  • Managing and improving standardisation, efficiency, service delivery and compliance within HC Operations              
  • Responsible for compliancy related questions in HC, incl. labour law                    
  • Responsible for performing service management tasks as well as initiating and coordinating HC Ops projects, including the coordination of mergers & acquisitions                         
  • Managing HC insurances and the HC Ops processes for night and Sunday work                              
  • Coordinating the vetting process and handling position management                   
  • Representing HC in the respective leadership teams, supporting Global HC projects and taking responsibility for the HC brand
