AVP Enterprise/Credit Risk Manager

Our client are expanding their 2nd line of defence to ensure they independently manage and monitor risks, whilst offering support to senior management.

This is a new role within the CRM team that will primarily focus on enterprise risk management topics. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to ICAAP, recovery plan processes, and offer support on other tasks and ad-hoc assignments owned by the CRM team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain 'Risk Appetite Statement' including assessing RAS metric effectiveness and coordinating periodic calibration, prepare periodic Risk Appetite dashboard and report findings to internal committees
• Effectively challenge and contribute to the development of methodologies, standards and tools for risk data aggregation, and risk reporting in line with BCBS 239 requirements
• Effectively challenge and contribute to development of internal RAROC model
• Support stress testing activities and contribute to the enhancement of current stress testing processes
• Support Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICAAP) and the Recovery Plan processes
• Prepare and deliver internal training on ERM topics

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in risk management or risk/strategic advisory roles
• Experience with multiple types of risk (previous experience with strategic risk or RAS development is an advantage)
• Understanding relevant EBA guidelines and regulation in EU
• Completed CFA or PRM, or are currently engaged in the process (preferable)
• Quantitative and technical skills in risk reporting and analysis
• Basic knowledge of programming (i.e. Python, R, or SQL) is considered a plus
• Fluent language skills in English
