NEWLY QUALIFIED OPPORTUNITY - Internal Auditor

My client is a well known retail brand with stores across the UK and a major online presence. They are now keen to hire an ACA or ACCA newly qualified individual as an Internal Auditor. You'll join a friendly, outgoing team and be based at the company's Head Office in central London. The core role involves end-to-end internal audit activities, ensuring that business relevance and commercial focus is maintained. This will include delivery of a clear risk assessment, test programme and audit report, addressing key risks and audit objectives in line with the Internal Audit methodology. The broader remit is extensive and covers all commercial and functional activities, providing independent and objective advice to senior management about key risks to the business and the effectiveness of mitigating controls. Travel is very low, just occasional day trips to UK stores and SSC.
This roles an exciting opportunity for an ACA or ACCA newly qualified individual to make a first move from practice (Top 10 preferred). You'll be an effective communicator who will enjoy working directly with senior stakeholders in an environment of constant transformation, with a willingness to adopt new ways of working. Experience of working with retail or consumer clients would be advantageous. In the longer term, the business welcomes internal moves to the finance or operations teams if desired.
