Internal Audit & Risk Manager
My client is a FTSE 250 hospitality business, based in central London. They have created a new job vacancy for an Internal Audit & Risk Manager, who can support the transition from a privately owned to listed company by embedding a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes across the Group. You will work closely with the CFO and report to the Audit Committee, and although this is a stand-alone role, there may be scope to recruit team members in the future. Travel is low, with just occasional trips, typically in Europe.
The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or IIA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of creating a risk register and internal controls framework in an acquisitive commercial environment. You will thrive in a hands on, varied role, with the opportunity to work directly with stakeholders to implement change.
