A reputable independent chartered accountancy practice based in Wilmslow are currently seeking a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join the team as an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant to progress through to management and operate in a varied role.

Your new role
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of clients including OMBs, Limited companies and groups and delivering a range of audit and accounting assignments. With this you will gain involvement in reviewing financial statements, planning the audit, reviewing the fieldwork, managing seniors, assisting with the completion of the audit and attending client meetings. On some of the more complex audits you will act as a senior but overtime your portfolio will grow along with your managerial responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) who has ideally trained within general practice and has a proven track record of delivering both audit and accounts assignments. As this role offers progression through to management you must be able to demonstrate a good work ethic and strong interpersonal skills as you will act as a key point of contact for your clients.
