Finance Control - Assistant Manager

A global reaching bank are looking to hire within their Financial Control team, based in Amsterdam. 

This team will offer access to senior decision makers within the Finance function and making sure that the processes, controls and testing is performed in line with internal and external reporting requirements. 

The role of the newly formed vacancy will have oversight of the entire area of the bank, to ensure a sound control framework has been implemented across financial reporting processes. This framework covers a number of financial and accounting areas, but has a strong Sox coverage. This Sox responsibility will ensure co-ordination and participation in the ICFR/ Sox404 sign off processes. 

There will be also additional processes which include investigations around a financial controls and accounting matters across the Corporate, Wholesale and Retail banking Finance divisions. 

This organisation is very strong in internal mobility, and will offer the successful candidate opportunities to move into different business units in the future (after c 2 years), which can be within the Netherlands or internationally. 

To be considered for this role, you will need to have all the below to be considered for interview:

• An External ort Internal Auditor, with 7 years experience (any industry considered, though banking experience preferred)
• Experience in implementing Sox Frameworks
• In the ascendancy of your career
• Demonstrate the ability to take ownership and responsibility of projects.
• Strong verbal and written English skills
