Senior Internal Auditor - FS/Asset Management

With a genuine passion for delivering a highly personalised service, the UK business includes a leading provider of wealth management and investment management services to diverse client base with c£9bn of AUM.

Due to the continued successful growth of the business and the need to embrace regulatory requirements,  a brand new Senior Internal Auditor opportunity has been created. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Audit you will be part of a small, friendly, collaborative and proactive audit team. This high profile role will see you delivering a wide range of risk-based internal audits covering operational, financial and regulatory areas. You will work across all operational areas of the business and gain exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders with responsibility for maintaining and developing positive working relationships to facilitate audit’s role as a business partner.  You will enjoy end-to-end responsibility from scoping and planning, through fieldwork/execution to the identification and discussion of recommendations and the drafting of audit findings/reports.

Based in central Bristol, this role also offers the opportunity to see a wide range of the operations of the business and so you can expect to travel but typically no more than 10-20% of you time. Main locations would include London, Ireland and potentially some international travel.

As the ideal candidate you will:

• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in either external or internal audit – ideally from a Big 4 practice environment
• Demonstrate solid understanding of risk management and of the UK’s Financial Services Regulations including PRA/FCA
• Ideally hold the ACA, ACCA, IIA or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrate strong relationship development and management skills, and be able to work collaboratively cross various functions regardless of seniority
• Be able to multi-task, prioritise and deliver outcomes in a timely manner
