Internal Audit Manager - FTSE 100

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been asked by one of the world’s leading industrial technology companies to recruit an Internal Audit Manager for their dynamic and innovative Internal Audit team.

This company has pioneered new technologies over the years and continuously strives to transform the power of technology within the industrial technology sector. The business operates globally, with the internal audit team based in the Midlands, but you will have the exciting opportunity for European travel within the role as well.

This role requires you to carry out a wide range of audits covering operational, commercial, financial and compliance risks in this dynamic, forward-thinking team. You will be tasked with challenging the current internal controls and developing recommendations to improve upon them. You will also be responsible for the preparation of written reports in a clear and concise manner.

The role would be ideal for a resilient, self-motivated, qualified auditor (ACA/ACCA) who has industry experience already and is looking to make a move into a role that could progress their career further.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and carrying out audits across the business and evaluating the internal controls system.
• Playing an important role in creating a vision of an effective internal controls system and in developing recommendations for this.
• Preparing concise and carefully written reports for the senior leaders, identifying other areas for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.

Person Specification:

• Recognised Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA etc.)
• Experience of internal or external audit.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Resilience, self-motivation and demonstrable ability to work collaboratively and effectively with senior leaders.
