I’m working with a major Fortune 500 business, one of the biggest leaders in the health industry industry. They are looking for an experienced Audit Manager with big 4 or internal audit background to join their team in the South of Germany.
You will be responsible for conducting complex audits of financial processes within a very international business environment. With more than 32 different nationalities it's the ideal environment for an international professional who is comfortable working in English and interacting with people from different countries.
This role will offer you autonomy, exposure and progression. After a few years in audit you can step up to a leading role, move internationally or rotate into the Business.
They value training and offer support in obtaining a qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, etc.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and execution of audit projects according to audit plan as well as special projects and ad hoc audits in an international environment
- Analysis of business processes in various financial/operational areas
- Lead of closing meetings/ preparation of audit reports to senior management
- Advice and support regarding to the development and optimization of internal control systems
- Review and assessment of significant projects
- Support of local internal audit departments the Business and assistance in developing group audit strategies
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in business administration or finance, preferably complemented by a professional qualification of CPA/CIA
- At least 5-7 years of professional experience in internal or external audit and controlling, possibly SOX experience
- Strong understanding of accounting and controlling processes, risk evaluations and the internal audit framework
- Experience in interacting with senior management and cross-functional teams
- Ability to establish strong relationships across organisations at an international level
- Experience with SAP FI/CO, data analytics software (ACL) and audit software
- Fluent English skills; German is a plus
