This Internal Audit Manager role is with a UK regulatory body, based in Birmingham city centre, who has recently relocated several functions from London to their new Birmingham office.
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, you will play a critical role in managing the delivery of the annual audit plan. This will include people-managing an in-house team of internal auditors and playing a proactive role in the delivery of audits too. You will also play a key role in collaborating & educating internal stakeholders to ensure that risks are effectively managed and a robust controls environment is maintained.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g CIA, QIAL etc) and have strong recent and relevant internal audit experience. Strong operational audit experience and prior experience of managing a team is highly advantageous. You must be confident and have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
