This is an exciting role with a growing boutique financial services provider in the heart of the city and opportunity for future directorship for the right candidate. The role of Head of compliance is a newly created role within the organisation and is responsible for overall corporate governance regulatory affairs and risk management expertise. With 250 million assets under management, this opportunity is for a proven leader who can own and add value to the compliance process from an operational and strategic level.
Your new role
The Head of compliance will report to the Managing director, supporting members of the senior management team across all areas including from enhancing policies and procedures, Supporting the development of business processes, procedures and controls to ensure they are properly mapped to applicable regulations, anti money laundering (AML) data protection and overall setting the strategic road map for compliance matters. The head of compliance Develop and improve the Company's compliance strategy and infrastructure across people, processes and systems and owning the development and delivery of the compliance monitoring plan.
What you'll need to succeed
This is an exciting role where you will engage with marketing and the product design and approval process, providing review and challenge to new and existing product developments. This business has an internationally focused portfolio of clients and therefore significant experience across international audit and compliance processes is essential here alongside FCA guideline knowledge. The Head of compliance will Interface, liaise and develop positive relationships with regulators, industry associations and policy organisations and provide challenge to business leaders by providing insights and trends to enable the business to make effective risk-based decisions. This opportunity is offering a competitive salary depending on experience.
What you'll get in return
The Head of compliance will have over 5 years experience in a similar role with significant exposure across IIA practices and FCA guidelines. Exposure within financial services and insurance specifically is also highly desirable. Experience of delivering regulatory management and risk within varied disciplines and organisations is essential as well as an ambition to take your career as well as the growth of the business to the next level.
