At KPMG in the UK, you’ll be part of our global network of firms and inspiring community of talented people. We work with businesses of all shapes and sizes to help them solve some of their most complex challenges and achieve success now, and in the future. Wherever you join us, across Audit, Tax & Pensions, Consulting, Deal Advisory, Technology & Engineering or KPMG Business Services, you’ll discover a career path full of rewards.

Who should apply?

Our Audit programmes are for people with an interest in business, who are motivated to develop a rewarding career within our firm – you don’t have to be a recent university graduate to apply.

Audit Graduate Programme

Audit is the largest of our UK practices and offers plenty of career opportunities for graduates. On our Audit Graduate programme, you’ll have a portfolio of companies to audit, varying in size, complexity and maturity – from local start-ups to some of the world’s biggest companies.  You’ll develop a deep understanding of businesses to ensure their published accounts reflect a ‘true and fair’ view of their financial position.

We’re investing significantly in tech-enabled solutions.  This means you’ll have the chance to use machine learning, AI and advanced data analytics to help you provide independent insight, challenge and high quality audits.  KPMG Clara, our progressive global collaboration and analytics tool, will help you to deliver even greater consistency and collaborative working.

Training

You’ll benefit from structured training, mentoring, funded professional qualifications or accreditations relevant to your programme, and the support you need to learn, grow and thrive. With access to numerous KPMG networks and clubs you’ll have the opportunity to expand your social and professional networks, too.

We offer two different training paths for our Audit Graduate Programmes – Empowered or Intensive – depending on location. All programmes take 3 years to complete; they just offer different routes to achieving success:

Our Empowered Programme offers you the chance to spread your work and study over the course of the 3-year programme. You’ll follow blended work experience and study towards the ACA or CA (Scotland) qualification near your KPMG office base.

Our ACA Intensive Programme offers you the chance to frontload your exams in the first 10 months and focus on work experiences in years two and three of the programme. In year one, you’ll study full-time near a KPMG training hub in either London, Birmingham or Manchester – completing 14 of 15 exams. You’ll then work at your KPMG office base, and complete your final exam.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits, including 25 days holiday, a daily lunch allowance, study leave and a day off on your birthday. With up to six days of work time for volunteering – on top of your annual leave - you’ll be encouraged to make a difference beyond the office, too.

Your qualifications

You’ll need to have, on be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline. We’ll look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See the ‘How to Apply’ section our website for further guidance.
