About the roleBe part of a new and highly innovative approach to delivering external audit work for our clients. The team are known within PwC as Fulcrum. They’re a close-knit community of staff, of all grade levels, working on prestigious London audit engagements within Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, Asset and Wealth Management and London Top Tier.

Fulcrum staff are integral members of the client-facing teams, physically located in our Birmingham office. The team use cutting edge technology we’ve developed to support our ability to stay connected with our clients, and wider PwC colleagues, wherever we are. You'll be involved with

Providing audit and business advice to a variety of clients

Supporting the co-ordination for audit clients including planning, day to day control, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments;

Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established clients;

Working and liaising with other members of the audit team, and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide high quality client service;

Report directly to a Partner, Director, Senior Manager or Manager

Have supervisory responsibility for teams of up to 10 people

Coach and train other staff

Essential skills and experienceAs a Senior Associate you’ll be required to

Be ACA, ACCA, or similarly qualified

Have experience in auditing large organisations

Experience of IFRS, UK GAAP (including FRS 101/102) and international standards on auditing would be required.

Be a demonstrated team player

Have a proven track record of establishing client relationships

Have the ability to work on your own initiative

Additional informationAmount of time office based approximately 90%

Amount of time at client sites or in London approximately 10%

Need to travel/overnight stays away from home Yes – occasional travel required.
