Senior Manager Internal Audit - Insurance - City of London - £80k + Benefits
I am seeking an experienced Internal Audit Senior Manager within Insurance for a leading multinational financial services firm in London. My client has strong credentials in the mid-market offering services in Investment Management, Life and General Insurance across the City in one of the UK’s leading Co-sourced Internal Audit service providers.
The opportunity is fantastic for those who wish to have that excellent work life balance alongside working in a dynamic environment. The chosen applicant will have the chance to work in a new team relatively small in size enabling candidates to broaden their scope of responsibilities and market knowledge. The role has a fast track career progression to Director level which is often far harder in an in-house role in Financial Services.
You will be executing audit committee papers as well as presenting to partners and clients. You should have the ability to take ownership of allocated assignments within the financial services sector in a way that exceeds client expectations while taking responsibility for managing and developing staff. The candidate should effectively be able to build and maintain relationships with clients providing they have good stakeholder management and communication skills.
The chosen applicant will be required to have:
- Qualifications in ACA, CA, ACCA or IIA or QBE
- Strong Practice/Consulting experience with exposure to Selling/Business development
- Prior relevant experience of client work within any area of the Insurance market
- Significant post-qualified experience in Risk Management, Internal and External Auditing
- Good presentation skills when pitching to relevant clients and partners
