Your new firm
You will be working for an established and well respected firm of chartered accountants based in the heart of Birkenhead. This practice offer a range of services to their extensive client base, inclusive of tax, audit, accounts and payroll and due to sustained growth they are now looking appoint another member of the team.

Your new role
As an Accounts & audit Semi Senior, you will be required to work with limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a range of industries and sectors inclusive of pension schemes, charities and some consolidated accounts. You will liaise with clients on a daily basis in order to attain the information needed to successfully produce their statutory accounts through to Partner review and this opportunity will enable you to get involved with sales and acquisitions, due diligence and elements of corporate finance. Audit planning and fieldwork will also be part of this role.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have at least a years experience working within a practice recently and will be able to produce statutory accounts under limited supervision. Experience undertaking audits is also preferable however isn't essential. You will be able to work efficiently and to deadlines and be able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients alike.

The firm work 08:45 - 17:00 with an hour for lunch and close down between Christmas and New Year. They have annual salary reviews and can also offer study support for the right individual.
