Your new role
Your new role is brand new for the business and has come about due to the businesses continued growth and increased pressure on the treasury department.

The role is treasury focused and will involve the day to day management of treasury operations in a complex, highly levered business with significant RPI exposures.

This role would suit a strong financial accountant or straight from practice top 10 ACA looking to move into industry. The organisation are able to provide treasury training to the successful candidate.

Duties will be varied and diverse, this is not a month end role, there is a lot of ad-hoc project work and reporting.

• Treasury operations (Liquidity levels, compliance with lenders, accurate liquidity forecasting)
• Accounting (Preparation of treasury reports to group)
• Reporting (Preparation of board papers, preparation of debt and interest disclosure for financial statements)
• Support wider treasury and tax team (Modelling, regulatory finance, RPI risk management)

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA) and strong technically. This role would suit a straight from practice ACA. You will require an understanding of accounting standards relating to treasury matters (IFRS7, 9 , IAS 32, 39, IFRS 13, FRS 102) However there will be on the job training on offer to up skill candidates who are interested in this vacancy.

What you'll get in return
In return you`ll get a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus. We are able to offer newly or recently qualified ACA`s near £45k plus a bonus so the salary on offer is well above market average. You will receive free parking, good holidays, pension and other benefits.
